Darrell Beaulier bought a Powercat from Meatball Murray at the Kingsland, Tx.,
AOMC wet meet in Oct. The boat came with original trailer and two 1960 Merc
700s. Darrell needs two 19" pitch through-hub exhaust props for the 70s in case anyone has a lead.
He 's already torn out the old transom and has installed the new one, the boat should be
running for the April AOMC meet in Kingsland. Along with Darrell, former racers Meatball and
Carlton Callahan belong to the Tx. Chapter of AOMC

John Schubert on this website is also an active AOMC member. Join and have some fun,
restoring the old stuff is better than fiddling with your cell phone.

Also shown below: Meatball with a 1960 Johnson 75 powerhead on an unusual short downhousing,
and his ca. 1949 11' Feathercraft. The original 1960 20:23 gearcase was smaller and
would have been faster.
