Jimbo's mom was a real "Charmer". She had these two Chihuahua dogs name Lupe and Keeley (After Lupe and Keeley Smith, entertainers). These dogs barked all the time, but Sue and Jimbo seemed to love them. We always thought Sue was the "BEST" mom as she let Jimbo work on his A Runabout in the dinning room.

I saw this post on Memories of Needles, today. Wow! 36 years ago today Sue McConnell passed away. She was Jimbo's number one supporter.

We were in Phoenix getting ready for the Parker 9 hour marathon. Jack gave us the weekend off so we decided to go to a boat race. The California racers were having a stock otbd race in Needles. Jimbo, Ted May and BRF's own Ron Hill were all running, D hydro and other classes. Help me out here Ron.

Walking through the pits I saw this lady. I didn't know who she was but I knew what she was. She had a shirt on that said JIMBO'S MOM. How's that for parental pride. Bless you Sue McConnell.
