Yes sir Jeff! I just finished it yesterday. I hope it gives me some gain over my single carb setup. What do you think it will do Jeff?

im running mercury 40hp sea pro 2 cylinder with single carburetor against yamaha 30hp 3 cylinder.but seems the yamahas way too fast.........

I have a 30hp mercury sea pro with the 40 upgrade! So we are running the same motor!! I can make yours fly! What is your speed, prop size and boat?

i run it on a hoffman 45ss hull....props is quicksilver 18" mini chopper....speed is 55mph on gps....but the smaller yamahas 30hp 3 cylinder smoke me in every race.......tyst67 i need your help...

mine is original 40hp sea pro 2 cylinder lost foam type block.engine is bone stock.is yours ported? i just wonder how to high the compression on this one..hm...

Did you get a chance to test it out tyst67? My friend has the same motor and we are thinking about doing the same thing to it!! Please post results when you get it up and running!!

The rivers are stil froze in but I should be able to try it in a few weeks! I'll let you know when I try it

crikey ,it must get pretty cold where you live.we sook like a bunch of school girls when theres just a frost over here.

This has been a dog of a winter here in the north eastern USA. Last year I was running prop tests in March; this year I'll be happy of I can hit the lake in April!

Yeah it is a really bad winter! Where about do you live in the north east? How far from New Brunswick canada ?

Wow i wouldnt know what to do if it got that cold here in SC. I enjoy running and testing the boat when its cold. Well "cold". If it gets in the 40s the river will be a ghost town. No spectators to witness a little testing hehe. Actually prefer it a little cold. When it gets in the 80s or more the river gets so packed with boats you can hardly run. Nothing like a 20ft center console running half throttle meeting you in a turn when you're mid race. Talk about an oh @%$# moment
