Larry Soares worked on the railroad for many years then raced SJ and MOD VP. Tim raced MOD VP and he and Dick Knight won the first Parker Nine Hour that had divisions. They won the MOD VP class that also had inboards in it.
John Soares has raced Sport C and almost all the MINI Enduros, and has raced in every Parker Enduro since the "NEW" Enduro that started in 2005.
Joyce Soares scored at many a COBRA race, later at Havasu and Parker working with Molly Ballou.
The V Bottom is Havasu, 1979. Tim is at the wheel of his boat, with my motor. We finished 4th, I think.
John also races cars at San Bernardino, Blythe, and Havasu. He did well this weekend, 11/5/2016, he won $1,000 and a nice trophy!
