This motor is a legal motor for our T750 class here in Ontario. No body has raced one yet and most know nothing about them.
I believe Ron Hill's wife set the world record for hard bottom inflatable with one in the 1980's....47 mph??
Our rules allow blue printing, crank welding, balancing, 160 compression and any tuner.
What I found very interesting is the size and number of reeds in this motor. There are 4 four pedal reeds!!
This motor is capable of drawing a lot of fuel and air.

Motors back then were crankshaft rated. The OMC was rated at 60 hp. This Suzuki was 65 hp. So its a strong motor to start with.
There was a twin cylinder only MOD tunnel class years ago in Japan. I believe this motor was very good in that class.

Has anyone ever raced or worked to improve the performance of a twin DT65 Suzuki?
