Hi Guys

can anyone point me to a specification for the safety clearance from race track to spectator boats?
Has there ever been a specification posted like how fast how far type of thing?

Thanks

I think, you are still in Singapore, but this is what I'd do. I would contact the American Power Boat Association in Detroit and ask them. Secondly, I'd contact Rick Feldsen, he is APBA Offshore Chairman, he sells APBA insurance, but he also sells outside of APBA. He's in New York, email me and I'll give you his email. He is on Facebook!

Did you hear that a 250 HO E-Tec was first outboard at the Parker Four Hour last weekend, third overall!

The question is for us here from the Port Authority, simple question but its not on any UIM or APBA doc I can find.
We are 99% there to have T750 race on the east coast Dec 6,7,8
Haven't caught up with the Parker news yet, would love to come and do that one year, I think I would try the v4 class.

THERE IS NO V-4 CLASS! RON

Hi Ron from teh PArker thread on S&F
The Div. II 2.0 liter rules say V-4 and inline 6 motors are called alternate motors and are exempt of the aforementioned rules. How much freedom are we talking about here? Lastly, what is the cubic inch of a 140 looper?

Racer says
V4 looper available in 110 and 122 cubic inch. Must use factory lower and mid but may be modified like nose cone and shaping. Powerhead you can port, add finger ports, any cyl heads. You can even run an X manifold with 2 barrel set up. But remember it has to live for 4 hours.

You are correct, just not their own class. I can get you a ride if you want to run next year, PROBABLY WITH A MERC, THOUGH.

I'll keep you in the loop, but that boat I was thinking could be borrowed may have been sold....Hustles us up an E-Tec 250 HO motor, I'll get us a boat and we'll run for the overall win!
