This is a " c stock" built by a gentleman back in the 60's and it has been recently made available to me. It has been barn kept for a # of years. Honestly I do not know alot about these but I agreed to buy it after seeing the 3 gal kiekhaefer tank('m a fan of old mercs).I could only imagine what was on the back. The builder is now disceased but his son knew alot about it and said it was a Ray Osier design, was 10' 6 " and the MK 30 was stripped to lose weight.I was hoping for a 30H but this will suffice at my first attempt at a race boatMy questions are does anyone have any history on this craft, Ray Osier, and any comments or ideas.Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Badfish

Do u mean Ray Ogier, from Burlington, ON?
His CSH was 10'6" OAL, 62" OW, cockpit width 17&3/8".
The DSH was 11'1", 67", 17&3/8".
His boats were also built by Orsatti, as well as many home builts.
Here is a D by Orsatti[sp?]
Send me a pic directly

This boat resembles a boat that was built down here in FL during the 60's and early 70's. They were built by Drake. Alan Drake (a nephew, I believe) used to run them, I had one that Billie Hutchins drove through the kilo and broke the CSH record at that time. The craftmanship of the boats I am talking about were not only able to handle rough water conditions, but furniture grade as far as finish. Beautiful boats.............

Badfish, or anybody else who would like a photocopy of the Ogier sales brochure from the '60s, send me a private message with your mailing address.

Oh boy, now I've done it! Just looked where I always kept the Ogier brochure . . . it ain't there! About a year ago, I copied a bunch of old stuff including that brochure, for John Taylor and Charlie Williams. Apparently I didn't put it all back in the usual place. I'll find it eventually, I'm sure. Ron says when I get a copy to him, he will post it. Now what did I do with it . . . .
