I thought it might be fun to look at old (and new) business cards of racers, pit crews officials and different people we know in the sport. As a boat racing pack rat I never threw any of that away. I did lose my cards of Dieter Konig, Scott Smith, Tommey Posey, Alan Yaw and Jon Culver though.

Thanks John. That means a lot to me. Sometimes I worry about posting too much. I wish I could make DePue this year, but next year its a for sure.

Hi Wayne- don't worry about posting to much. Many of us, especially old
timers, enjoy "ALL" of your posts. Maybe the kids of the sport will learn
what went on in the past.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I doubt I would visit this site half as much if Wayne stopped posting his pics, and quit telling stories.

In fact Wayne, I really wish you would post a lot more than you already do. I love to see the old pics, and the stories. To be honest, I like the modern ones as well, but the historical ones seem to be better as there is always a good story in there as well.

Keep it coming.

Yes Wayne, how about some stories about the first time you raced against any of your early heros in pro racing. Seebold, Waldman, etc..

Thanks for the kind words guys.

David--I like the old photos and stories as well. It was, besides meeting my wife and having a family, the most important part of my life. There are a lot of good photographers around now and taking some great photos. One day they will be in the same place we are now and looking at current photos just like we are looking at the old ones. A hint. Take lots of notes and don't lose them.

Marc--That's an interesting idea worth thinking about. I remember a little about my first race with Waldman and Hering. I remember a lot about my last race with Waldman and Seebold. I told the story to Ron Hill, but I have never posted it here.
