:D 83' 2002 - Stevie Robertson...

He dominated the 83' IOPG Ironton, Ohio race with that rig. Paul Allison was there with Darris's recent V-pad creation (2002)...it was freak'n fast down the straights and a rocket out of the corners...Weeks/Cain boyz were ther too...great weekend! Pictures to come...

Good days!

NOTICE THERE WERE NO PIC.'S OF THE WEEKS AND CAIN BOYS AT THIS RACE. IT WAS BECAUSE THEY BLEW THREE POWERHEADS DURING QUALIFICATIONS. (TOOOOOO LEAN) SHE WOULD RUN LIKE A SCALDED DOG DOWN THE STRAIGHT BUT WHEN THEY LET OFF IN THE TURN SHE WOULD LOCK UP TIGHTER THAN -------- WELL U KNOW.

Please note below:

1. The 1983 Parker Enduro Program showing all entries.
2. The right page enlarged showing the Roark Summerford Entry - #303 Lazer - Drivers: Dean Drodz and Chris Bush. Roark had two LTV's there. I believe these were the first two LTV's to enter competition.
3. The #303 LTV
4. The #40 LTV

Thanks

Not to pile on...

The Parker Enduro was held in March well before St. Louis race in August.

Who ever thought racing in St Louis in August was a great idea needs some serious help...fricken steambath and Bucsh beer.

Let's see the Brick Yard 400 is down the road from St. Louis....Actually, if they raced at NIGHT in St. Louis it would be perfect....

Can't race in the sring becasue of floods...The fall is beautiful, but everyone is watching football...So, August gets the call...but needs to be a night..

And it coud be lit by freeway CONSTRUCTION MOBILE LIGHTS..
