COME AND BE A PART OF HISTORY
THE SECOND ANNUAL REVIVAL OF ONE OF THE GREATEST SPECTACLES IN BOAT RACING!The Race: The concept is simple –modeled after the original 1964 “Parker Enduro” all boats from 16 feet up to a maximum of 22 feet 6 inches, with any motor configuration (inboard, outboard, IO, Jet) will designate a racing division (1 thru 6) can enter the race and absolutely NO capsule boats (tunnels or otherwise) will be allowed. The start will be staggered Le Mans with the slowest class of the racing divisions taking off Le Mans style first and then each division approx. 15 minutes thereafter. Safety is of the utmost priority and there are strict rules regarding passing and overtaking boats. Fuel stops are a minimum of 10 minutes on the trailer in your pit designation so no extravagant fueling rigs are necessary. The course is from Bluewater to Badenoch’s and back (approx. 5 miles round trip) and the race is a total of 60 laps. Come and join this prestigious event and put name in with the many other racers, boat manufacturers and aftermarket manufacturers that have already signed up to race for bragging rights and their share of the $10,000 in prize money.

Please go to the rules thread in this section of www.boatracingfacts.com (http://www.boatracingfacts.com) for a complete set of rules.

The deadline for pre-registration is September 30, 2006 (a late fee of $50 applies to all entries received after 9/30/06) and if you have any questions or want more information please feel free to contact myself (310) 318-4012 or any of the racing division reps.
To book a room at the Bluewater Resort & Casino please call (888) 243-3360.
Life jackets can be rented from Lifeline Race products either prior to the event or onsite.
If this is not of any interest, I would like to thank you for your time and ask a request that you could pass along the information to someone that might be interested.

I look forward to seeing you on the water!

Sincerely,

Per Rod Zapf's request I changed the rules...

Basically, we made it clear that 22 feet six inches is the lenght, maxium and the time for the staggered starts are about 15 minutes....

If you are truly interested in the exact handicaps, look them up on the separate thread, rules governing the Parker 300. Some of the handicaps are less than 15 minutes, some are considerably more than 15 minutes, based on the finish times for last years "300". We will continue to "juggle" the start times based on the previous years experience and finish times. Good luck to all of you! :( Rod Zapf

I was asked to post the list, which I have done, and I have received a few more but boat racers- in general- like to wait until the last minute to send in their entries- so if by the end of the month (pre-registration deadline) the numbers are slim then we will have a big problem and the race will be in jeopardy but not until then.
I will continue to update the list as entries come in.
Thanks,
Ross:confused:
