It appears we have enough parts for two engines and two is enough for me...So, this stuff, is "SPARE PARTS"...and I'm taking them to scrap metal TODAY.....So, we may have enough money to cover our entry fee...

Don't tell me it is "GOOD JUNK" as I know...but sometimes, a man lke his garage clean....

Did the trim pump for my johnrude 70 ever show up? If it did, I couldn't find it on the pictures. Don't throw it away, I have a way to get it back to Iowa now. :p Rod

This reminds me of a time some years ago I went to our local outboard salvage yard. Max the bandit as he was known had hundreds upon hudreds of used outboards on his land. As far as the eye could see there was old iron dating from the mid 40s to late 70s. Every make and model. Stock to factory racer just rusting away in the Michigan weather. When I showed up one winter afternoon I here this rumbling noise coming from the back of his property. Sounded like a jet engine. I asked Max what was going on? He informed me he had a crew of 5 laborers out back smelting all the old CRAP down for salvage. I was horrified. He said he could only keep it so long. He had to make more room for the stuff that would sell. If I only had a semi trailer back then and loaded it up with some of the stuff he melted down I would be a wealthy man today. But you know ------ should of could of would of.;)

I moved this stuff from Fred Bowdens, to my shop, to Chad's haouse to my truck...

I sold Bunker's Lavey and 2.5...

My daughter's boat has a fresh 2.5.

We have a fresh S-3000 for Parker and a good 260 for Nostalgia racing....

I have one more complete 2.5, in pieces and I guy in Texas says he'll give me $1,500 for it...I said, "SOLD"...

We'll keep the S-3 and 260 for Parker and Nostalgia racing....

The block is fresh from Jim Ruck...beautiful..

Engine builder was plastering his house today... Me and Pat...and BROC worked on the Blue Water Casino Winner...Possible winner...

maybe you should have tossed that "junk" in boat you sold me. Maybe I could have found use for it. Nothing like free spare parts
