After this year's Blue Water Resort and Casino 300, I saw the future.....The future of Boat Racing is multi purpose boats, the future of boat racing is Handicaps starts... There is not question in my mind that the HANDICAPS gave almost everyone who raced the "ENDURO", felt they could win.

I don't know anyone, since Jimbo McConnell who makes a living driving race boats. Therefore, we are all hobbyist..... (Can't wait to get spell chck on BRF)... anyway, FUN should be why we race boats....Having said that.....Here are three of my "FUN" Boats, Division I, for 2007...

Elvis will drive, he'd given me his word. Batman may drive again... James has not answered my E-Mails... Her are three boats, that I made "Deals" ON TODAY... ADD IN JOEY CUCCI'S FOUR D'CUCCI'S FOR FLAT BOTTOM OMC STERNDRIVES and we have a big Division I...

Could probably buy that Chevy truck for a "TRANSPORTER".... Is one of these three boats apt to be the 2007 Blue Water Resort and Casino 300 Enduro winner????

Now, if anyone would want to drive with Elvis, ....or.....Hey, would you like to race the Enduro???? I'm going to have seven boats...I've decided, one driver can drive three hu ndred miles. So, I need at least six drivers who would help get theres boats ready for Division I...

ADD; That last one, with a HOT SUPER STRANGLER....could hurt those other Divisions....I wonder what a 100 HP Evinrude needs to become a 140???

I WANT TO RACE!!! I will drive 300 miles!!! the LAST boat is the most familiar to me, can I race that? I will help rebuild the OMC or we can see about something a bit hotter...

I WANT TO RACE on Thanksgiving, IF I can get a couple or rooms at the Bluewater (Ross is looking) over Thanksgiving, I will race the bassboat at PARKER in the Nostalgia class...

RON,

I will call you on Saturday.

I said before on S&F, they should have like a Cannonball Run for boats on the Mississippi! Separate all the boats into different classes, stagger the starting!

I read about some type of Endurance race like that was done in the 60's.

Ron, I believe you have found the future of boat racing, at least for the folks that want to go back to the days when racing was fun! I will warn you though, Lee Buchanan out of Bellvue Iowa is preparing two boats and will spend the summer testing. He will be in the "hunt" next October and I do believe he will have a division I boat running near 70 mph. COUNT HIM IN!!!:) Wouldn't it be great to see a field of 7 or 8 Division I boats start not only the Parker 300 but also the Mini Enduro you are planning to run a few months earlier! The heart of boat racing may be on the mend and I am certainly happy to be part of it! Rod:)

The Mini Enduro is schedule about a month after The Blue Water Resort and Casino 300 Enduro... The Mini Enduro will be four hours, the weekend before Thanksgiving.

And Division I will be the TOP CLASS in the Mini Enduro...

100 HP Evinrude needs to become a 140???

Ron:

Exhaust tuner and carbs.... You saw one of my trucks...Make me or find me a 6 boat trailer and I have the crane to unload them.....We get an old car hauler with double decker capability, and have removable upper deck bows, crane the boats out of the trailer using a large belly strap.... Or, I put a track drive loader with a long set of forks on the tail end of the trailer, and, drive up and unload each boat, transom first, setting it into the water either by driving down the ramp into the water, or, make a small parking lot trailer to se tthem on and back them in....

A double deck car haulers would be bitchen....

Spent the after noon working on the D'Cucci boats...putting about five of those mothers on a train would be way cool...

Need drawing of your bar-b-que concept..I've got a guy who can build it and I'd like to get started...

A bar-b-que with ablown Chevy would be........is what we need...to cook BRATS...

I'm "DUMPING" the COBRA DRIVES and going with Mercruisers on the CUCCI boats....but sticking with the Ford Pinto...

We already have a PINK D'Cucci hull....maybe you could drive until your daughter is old enough....like next week...Hill rules allows for age to be what the PARENTS's think...

add;

YOU ASKED IF WE RACED AT CARLSBAD...

WE RACED THERE A LOT...AND WE CAN DO IT AGAIN...

Ron:

I'm starting to get all wound up over next week, because, California houses don't have basements, which, creates the problem of dumping family froo froo crap that belongs on a basment in the garage... Why, is this relevant.....Since California garges can't be used as garages with all the crap people pile in them, and it rained all day today, so, mad as hell, I could not finish painting the deck of Katie's Lovecraft. This week is out as we are gearing for the season of work, which leaves weekends. My goal was to get Katie on the water, get her licensed, and get her a helmet so they can paste that rookie X on the top of the thing, which will tick her off enough to learn how to pass the boys sooner than later....

Anyhow, we will be attending Bakersfield next weekend....To watch and maybe get a ride....I'll have CAD drawings of the Bubba-Que, and when it's built, maybe just maybe it would atract Wayne Baldwin becuase she says heeez from Texas, the due knows how to que...LOL

Far as blown Chevy goes..... Lets one up that to a fiberglass Hemi with a `12-71 blower that will turn, and spit fire out of the zoomies, which will in essence be a set of orafices and igniters in the pipes....good for roasting weenies under fire...

October 20, 2007 is really just around the corner.

Fast Fred: I'll look for a ride for you. Capnzee is in IOWAY (Iowa to Mid Worsterns) but when he get home, I'm going to CONVINCE him he should buy that Tri Hull, in Texas, that someone mention was for sale CHEAP...Capnzee likes Cheap....Truth is, Capnzee has so much money he was thinking of buying a boat company in Iowa, just to get rid of some of his money.

But, plan to come out and we'll get something...maybe.. Got any V-6 powerheads???

Father Nostalgia:

I think I do to that 18 Two blade, now I'll admit we ain't talked, but the Trialer Hitch Ball worked so damn good on the three blade, no reason to believe it won't work on this two blader...I'm thinking, I need to make you a three or four blade like this one...

Ron, I have been following your thread and am now wondering how many entries you have for Division I. Looks like you have at least 5 or 6 but when I talk to Ross, he says there aren't that many registered for the whole race. What gives? I set up a division where the jet boats stand a really good chance of running against the props and get no response. As far as the tri-hulls from Texas are concerned, I believe that could be the "wave of the future" for guys who want to go out and have fun but don't care to refinance their family to go racing. I fully believe we can put the fun back into boat racing with a tri-hull that can run about 80mph. I don't mind going that slow if I know I have my foot on the "floor" and can't get no mo outa it! I just don't like going 80 mph with a boat that will do 90, but, I'll race against them
with a boat that can reach 80 when full out. :) Rod
