Hey All,

I am about 6 weeks out on NEW 40CI and 44CI Early Pistons. I need your orders ASAP for quanities. I have 25 of each on order right now. they will be .020 and .040 over sizes in both the 40 and the 44 versions. The 44 will use a semi-keystone wiseco ring and the 40CI will use a square style ring like the original I had to do this match it up as a piston ring combination. They will both be two ring style pistons and are anodized. They will be between 95-100$USD.

What rod do they use the 600 -4 or are they for the new 44xs d motor?

Howard,

These would use the 600-4 rod. I have put these on hold. I just did not get the response I was hoping for. Out of having to order 26 sets of 4 pistons. I would have had about 6 sets spoken for.

I heard a' bit ago that it costs about $600.00 to build a 40/44 not counting labor , wow lot diff. than $5000.00?

Just don't see some things.

that musta been "quite" a'bit ago!!! A new MOD exhaust system costs between $500-$1000, new pistons/rings around $500, plus bearings and gaskets around $125, then add about $600 labor or so with machining, that all says you provide the block, rods, crank, reed assys, carbs, igntion setup, etc................now, that is using all new parts (the ones that are available)...................but, if you used USED parts, you could build one for probably $1000........powerhead wise.......;)
