Talked to Fred Bowden, today. (May 17, 2007). He is getting his Stoker ready for Division V.... Todd is back driving Champboats this year (Shawn Torrente is still driving for BDI)...Todd Bowden will drive Fred's Mod VP at the 2007 Blue Water Resort and Casino 300. He also said BMB Storage of Parker would help Sponsor Chad Hill and Pat Bowman again this year....

Here is the poster I have been "stewing" about. I know that you will not be able to read the "good" words under each of the boats so I'll just run a little contest to see if any of you can figure out who the drivers are in each of the boats. :cool: I would also like to thank Mr. Bill Reiter Sr. for helping me fund this project; :) no boat, just good will and wanting to help my project along--Thanks Bill! :rolleyes: I heard today that Mr. Fred Bowden is fielding his old ModVP that won many a race in the good ol' days of racing. Remember Fred, the Mod VP class in the Parker 300 has new rules. You now have a weight restriction and a height limit for your prop shaft. All of you that intend to run are responsible for knowing the rules and abiding by them. We will be inspecting the boats prior to the race so we will have a known winner when the first boat completes 300 miles. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD RACING--PIT ASSIGNMENT AND START POSITION ARE BASED ON POST MARKED DATE OF YOUR REGISTRATION. GET IT IN NOW! START FIRST AND BE FIRST

I posted the poster and I'll bet you would like to know how I did it! Since you couldn't. Now, name the drivers in each of the boats--there may be a huge prize for the winner! I will start with a little "dity" that will give you a hint. Here goes---If you are rich you can grab your hot rod & skip over the hill. There you will find one of the best lakes........that is as far as I will go at this point:D Rod

One things for sure...I would not want to be the guy buying the fuel for Skip Ewings V-8 for 3 hours

The 34 boat is easy, Chad Hill, as Pat's helmet has yellow/red mixed in it and Chad used 200 MPH tape across his face sheild.

More names to come....

ADD ON TO THE DITY (hints to drivers names on poster);
IF YOU ARE RICH, YOU CAN GRAB YOUR HOT ROD AND SKIP OVER THE HILL WHERE YOU WILL FIND ONE OF THE BEST LAKES TO RACE ON, BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE FAST RUNNING EDDY ON THE FAR SIDE, ONLY A MORRONE WOULD GO THERE.:D

Actually, No 100 MPH tape, only a sticker that says Hill Marine.Com a last minute thing I did just before the race. What a marketing scheme that came to be. It looked great in Powerboat. The white chips on the sides of the helmet could look like tape, but that is just years of an oversize driver in a capsule boat. Good detail though!!
