Who used Anzani Engines in DePue, please respond?

The question was put to Joan Carter, Bud Finkl's daughter. She remembers Bud racing German Konig engines not the Italian Anzani engines. Bud was avid on German engine technology. Joan remembers Bud raced only German B & C engines, they were smaller, lightweight and easy to control. Homer Kincaid might have raced the Anzani engines.

Bud raced hydroplanes and Dub Parker built a couple of boats for Bud.
Joan said she knew Dub Parker a longtime and was a nice family man.

Bud was one of the 1st to build a runabout type boat. As a young man in the 1930's, he would run it up and down the Fox River in McHenry, Illionis. We believe at that time he used the American Evinrude Outboard engines, very popular when he was a young boy. Then the Finkl's had a summer home on the Fox River, later their summer home was fantastic on Pistakee Bay, in the Channel Lakes. Our grandfather, Bill Finkl would take us for boat rides in his mahogany Chris Craft Inboard. Later in life Bud became interest in building classic style runaboats called Packard.

Alexandro Anzani was Italian and there were engine works in Italy, France and England at different points in history. There was a built in Italy outboard racing Anzani?? This would be great infill information and history to come by if it were to be had?
