Is there any paint available (in spray cans) that comes close to the original 20H gold and Phelon flywheel gray ? Providing that they are still not out of stock, I know that East Coast Marine has the green, but the gold and the flywheel paint seem to be a challenge to find. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

I've always thought that the grey was the exception rather than the rule with most 20H flywheels being green. I've seen grey in pictures, but the 100 or so I've seen in person where all dull green.

I have about 14 20-H engines and the flywheels were all sort of gray but with a green tint. I have a photo of my brothers 20-H restoration that he just completed. I beleive he found a good match for the flywheel. We are using PPG paint for all the 20-H engines with their green and gold. He has the paint codes. Can't find a spray can with a close gold.

Alan- Your and David's engines look great. As I remember back in the EORC days, my 20-H had the grey flywheel. Blew that one wide open on a start in Mastic.

Its a standard racing prop, probably a KAMIC brand from the 1950's. You really need to get to a race and see this stuff in person.

You guy's are good! The prop is a old bronze Kamic prop we have had for many years. The size numbers are not readable. I am in the process of cleaning up some of the props we have collected and raced over the years. One of the nice ones is a Ron Hill DSR prop once owned by Don Christy. It has MLC also stamped 180 degrees from the DSR. It is a nice thinned steel prop.
