When I was a kid and first got enthused about boat racing watching the Bardahl unlimited commercials with Ron Musson driving, I would ride my bike down Texas Boulevard about two miles to the ICEBOX. They had "Superman, a comic about a marine named "Mike" and other interesting reading. I had only recently discovered "BOAT NEWS" when I was a junior in high school. I rode my bike every day at the time I thought the next edition of BOAT NEWS would come out. I don't know what happened, but after missing some time I found this issue of HOT BOAT.
Inside the cover it says Volume one, number two. Spring 1967. I cherished the few Hot Boats I ever got. They had so much stuff in them at the time, that I absorbed completely. Looking back....I can see so much history from that time. This particular issue has an astounding number of interesting articles. Ron....have you or Russ or anybody ever read the first issue? How many have read this one.?
