I am interested in attending events, but I don't have time to travel too far. Anything going on in the midwest for vintage OPC?

What is included in the $25? Is there a newsletter?

If there isn't a website dedicated to vintage OPC you should have one with pictures, a lot of people don't know what a vintage OPC is.
Would also like to see schedule of events etc, buy and sell, members listings etc.

I support your efforts and I will volunteer to help any way I can to help this thing grow. Let me know.

Bill, The APR is having a race at Peoria,il next weekend(Saturday). Vintage is not on the schedule but Sam asked me to bring a vintage boat but nothing is quite ready yet and I am dragging my raceboat so I can't tow 2 boats but if you have something ready, I am sure Sam would love to display it.

I'm in. Didn't get a chance to look at everything, but what I saw convinces me it is a good thing.

Wow!
Bring it on. We are going to place the Vintage Village in a pristine spot in the park...

Go up on our web site to view the Gazette (if you haven't already done so).

APR has another race scheduled for mid July in Marietta, Ohio. This will also be the SST 120 world Championships and should be some great racing. There should be some very good press for this event. Marietta is also a great place for a race. It is very important that Vintage Outboard has a good showing at this event.

I hope that everyone realizes the great oportunity that the APR is providing Vintage Outboard. First Class events, great sites, a chance to see some great racing, and time on the water. This is a free ride and is about as good as it gets. All you have to do is join APBA, show up with your Vintage Outboard race boat, helmet, race jacket and have a great time. If your boat is not ready to run bring it and display it.

If you want this to work and grow you need to show up. If you show up and run you will not regret it. Ask Sherlock, Cleckler, Hunt and Locklear if they had fun when they ran. Sherlock looked like a kid with a new toy at Highpoint and had a grin from ear to ear. Kim, Jim and Duane looked like they had a lot of fun Chattahoochee(which was a local race) when they ran several times. All these guys have driven some pretty fast equipment over the years but the vintage boats seem to bring back some special memories and are a blast to run.

Pull off the covers, dust them off and let's run

Marietta, Ohio July 12th & 13th
The OPC-V continues its association with the APR Superleague
and will be attending the "The Riverfront Roar" races on the
Ohio River in downtown Marietta, Ohio on July 12th & 13th.
This would be a good chance to seee some excellent tunnel boat
racing, and check out the OPC-Vintage boats on display.
