Hi All!
Am after your thoughts, ideas etc for a good small engine power trim set-up.
30 hp.
Have thought of aftermarket type units but cost is prohibative.
Now looking for small unit to 'adapt' to our needs maybe off of a wreck.

Ideally, 12 v 'electric' would be preferred eg: built in hydaulics within the ram. Otherwise small size external pump etc may have to do.

Look forward to any suggestions. Photos would also help if anyone is willing.

Cheers!

Bob Dillon used to sell a power trim kit for use on a 25/30 h.p. OMC.
I don't see it on his site any more but you may want to get ahold
of him to see if he knows if a used one is available. He is active
in racing and building boats in this size range so may have some
suggestions for you. Here is link to his site:

Good luck,

I have an entire 40HP Evinrude with an integrated trim unit. Give me $400 and the motor is yours, or if you want to ave costs shipping, I'll take off the section and clamp. You will need to do some mods to make it work, but the stuff is all there.
