Issue with Yamaha 50 and 703 remote

Cables appear to not be correct length from the cable end to the bracket on the engine's lower pan. The bracket came with the control box, may not be for this motor. Were there different brackets for different motors? This one bolts on and looks right.

I am referencing parts 18 & 19 in the image. Is there another bracket that I am unaware of?

Yamaha boxes can be push to open or pull to open, that bracket is right. Hook up the shifter cable only, if you can make it work, check push / pull on throttle cable
