Hopefully Vickie will bring her boat to the Nationals and let John or Tony show you what has changed in the past 12 years.

I have no dog in this fight BUT if making front halves is not Pro Mod what is?
I woud have thought that there would be;
Stock,
Mod , looks like original but anything can be ground on ( with list of components that must be stock, or from same manufacture and stuff that is free. Therefore you know what you are getting into before you join the class)
Pro, anything to fit the rules.
my two cents?
850cc rule 5 for 44.9
No size or measurement specs apply to reeds or carburetors, however material may not be added to increase the size of the
carburetor throat and reed ports?
is that a typo or a mod I dont yet know how to do?
meaning add to outside and bore a bigger hole?
[QUOTE=David Mason;86549] Once they get good at Mod they can step into pro, kind of a natural progression. [QUOTE]
What you talkin' about Willis???;););)
Kenny Roasado and John went thru the start together side by side
with David straggling behind. By the second lap John had opened up a straight away on Kenny when the pipe tailcone blew off!
John saved the win ahead of Kenny.
David Manson finished in a distant third and wanted John to go back out with out a pipe for the second heat. After a little we both decied not to!
The race was in New York State not PA.
Do you remember yet?

And It's not my opinion just the facts!
Just another boatracing supporter.
Add epoxy and then bore is what the rule is about.
Stock 1.50" butterfly 1bbs can be bored to 1.65" w/o adding.
Either way I need to know the TRUTH in order to get ready.
There is no dogfight just some confused individual(s) that are going by word of mouth or their own interpritation of what they think they heard.
Follow the rules and ask the inspectors!

so, it's ok to crash at 99.9 mph or less, but not ok to crash at 100+ mph,
frivolous.
