Sorry Dean 2 different motors!! Lol!!
I think Lodge made pink plugs .
you were right Steve.
Glad you did post more pictures Alice. It also brings up more questions. First I don't recall having seen any closeups of a 56 Konig before and it really has all the features of a mid 60's FA. I had thought the 57 model was the first year of the exhaust stacks and that they were the "mule ear" style. This motor is even earlier and has the bracket to hold the fixed expansion chambers it looks like. Also I thought the older motors had the Bosch magneto.I wonder if maybe the motor was updated at some point. Wish Steve Litzell were around to fill us in. Somewhere there are posts of old brochures on the old FA Konig. Maybe somewhere earlier on this thread. Have to look. Do those triangular ends on the steering bar swivel? They look like they are backwards to me.
Thanks again. Good pictures.
Maybe this has been posted before but i didn't feel like going through all 50 of posts. I received in some paper stuff that Palph Donald sent me.
Anyone able to ID this motor. I’m quite sure it’s a konig but I could be mistaken.
