Dean Hobart and R. Allen "Pop" Smith 1980

Pop and I became very good friends. The last few years of his life, I traded three blade casting to him for finished props. You could buy "Ron Hill Props" or New "Pop Smith" props from me.

He was magic with propellers.

I never knew Dean was this young!

R. Allen ‘Papa’ Smith was a true Southern Gentleman……. And the best propeller man of all time.
