Could you look in the list and see who the Power Cat U-115
driver/owner was?
Thanks,
Danny Leger
I have searched every where trying to find that video..
Many thanks for posting it...

The one you have found is the model we call an 18c.. they should measure 16ft 3in to 16ft 5in
from the transom to the nose.. depending on who is doing the measuring.
They first came out in 1958 and...
Probably will run mid to high 40's if the motors are in good shape
Looks to be all original with the top added at some latter year....
You going to take ownership or is it for sale?? :D

Need some help to ID this photo,
The Switzer wing is the U-4 wood boat but it has black Merc motors..

One thing that was throwing me off on the date is that some of the boats
are listed as having 100hp Mercs, while all the "team" drivers were
still using 80's. I guess the 1000's were so new that...
I have not been able to pin the year down on this but this article from
Propeller magazine refers to the "first" new OPC rules for APBA used at
this event. Must have been 1961 or '62
Somehow I don't think they would allow this sort of starting technique
in todays racing......
This photo is a good example of the transition period in US racing.
It was labeled as Havasu 1968 but I am not sure of its origin.
The multi engined cats were on the way out and the tunnel boat...
