Impressive!! I have done a few injected v6 omc's. Lot less burned pistons. Keep us posted.

56 inch omc, porte, head cut, tuner, unlimited pack. I will be running plastic reeds. Do I run reed stops or not? I hope to spin the snot out of it. Personally I have never run stops in my motors....

If you use an electric fuel pump you need to regulate the pressure so it does not go past the needle and seat. That will just flood the motor. Why not jet the motor. Jets are not terribly expensive!...
No , not on a set of race reeds. We would change them ea. day on the drag motors. But a set of sport reeds will last a long time if the motor runs smoothly.
You should not tear them up that quick. was it popping back through the carbs? I usually get a couple a seasons out of a set.

the drag reeds will be thin and short lived but respond well. You will be best of with the sport reeds if you are playing with the boat. Chris is a good friend of mine . He will lead you straight!!

I have two sets of 70 hp carbs. Is there an advantage with the 75 stinger carbs over the 70 hp carbs. Am running on a 15' mid with nitro case . I have a set of 75 carbs buried in a box somewhere.
