It is with sad heart that I have to announce the passing of Wayne Baldwin this morning after a short illness. Wayne was an outstanding contributor to this site and he truly will be missed. He also was an outstanding boat racer years gone by. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers. When I learn more I will post the information. Attached are some recent photos of Wayne and a boat project he was just starting. This was posted by Alan van Weele and not Ron Hill in that I signed into the site incorrectly.

What a shock. I was so sorry to hear that news. What a great, kind and gentle man he was, and what a fearless boat racer. Thoughts and prayers for Wayne's family.

Carina and I got the honor to met Wayne in Naples 2010.
