Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
If it is, I remember seeing the boat beside John's house covered with a tarp for years.
Seem I remember John telling me it was an experimental boat from OMC in Peterborough. That leads me to think it might have been made by Lorne Pinel.
Great picture of the OMC with single stack. That was the forerunner to the KC and later KR exhaust systems. The sound was unreal, made the V4 sound like it was running 10,000 RPM. We were never able to quite match the power of that steel system with the aluminum castings exiting into the midsection.
