Default 1994 Mariner 90 HP Counter rotation

Got a friend that has 2 conventional rotation 1994 Mariner 90's on his fishing boat. The torque from both motors make the boat hard to drive. Is there a way to change one of them to a counter rotation? Is it a gearcase change and a prop or is it more complicated. Any help would b e appreciated.

nope, Merc(Mariner) never made a counter rotation lower unit for that motor............not until the V6's...................best to play with trim tab adjustments or add hydraulic steering, if he is experiencing excessive steering wheel torque or change to a "no-feedback" type cable steering..........
