    Doug Kay has restored two 40-H's for me and also a KF-9. Really a very nice find and could be a great restoration. You can find the engine details on the 40-H thread and a lot more.

    Jeff,I was 11 at the time and my Dad would not let me run the "BIG MOTORS". He said I was to small !!! LOL . Also I did not make enough with my Detroit FREE PRESS paper route.

    Found the serial # 713357.Looks to be late 53 early 54. Cool.
    Is this number on the block?
