1961 PRO Nationals program

I have recently acquired a 1961 PRO Nationals , the first PRO Nationals help on Lake DePue , program to add to my collection. I have included a few pages from that program. If anybody has anything related to any of the PRO Nationals held at DePue and would like to share with me , as I attempt to preserve the history of the PRO Nationals on Lake DePue , please let me know. I would like to thank the racers that have already sent me photo copied stuff from heat sheets , scoring sheets , programs and magazine articles. I really appreiciate it. There will come a day when I will display what I have have for all to see and I will give credit to the people who send me information. Thanks again.

A little story as to how these came about. Gerald Toovey was the general chairman for the DePue Centennial committee back in 1961. I have been friends with his son Kevin since Jr High school. After last years Nationals we were talking about past races and I told him about my quest to find as much history about the PRO/Alky Nationals as I could. It was than that he told me his dad had a bunch of stuff from the 1961 races and he would get it to me. That is were these scoring sheets came from.The originals were on 11x17 sheets and I had to have them reduced to 8X12 to post them so they may be a bit hard to read. Thanks to them for allowing me to copy them.
