    Surviving the total disintegration of his "Slipper-E" in 1956 he exclaimed... "if you can't win, be spectacular!"

    Red Wilson (1920-1963) dedicated the last hours of his life to his first love, boat racing.He succumbed to injuries received attempting the world kilo record in his famous E-Runabout (APBA), "Supercortemaggior-E," at Lake Moovalya, parker, Arizona.

    Red was survived by his wife, Ruth Ellen Wilson. Ruth Ellen started boat news after Red's death. Ruth Ellen was the wife of Clay Smith. And if you recall Clay Smith, he was killed at Indanapolis, while he was standing in the pits, by a flying tire that had come off a race car.....

    Clay Smith Cams is is owned today by George Strigel... Woodywoodpecker witha cigar is the famous loco of Clay Smith cams...
