Default 1966 and 1977 D Runabout National Champion: Ron Hill

I'm been fooling with my scanner again, found these two Hill Boats...."00 Snapper" was 14'4 inches long. Built for F Runabout, but we found out after we built the boat, we could buy an engine. Ron Hill While I'm bragging, Ted, Et al, here is my 1977 National Champion D Runabout, the fastest 40 Cubic Inch D Runabout in the whole entire world. No 40 CUBIC INCH STOCK MERCURY ever ran as fast as this motor and boat. I also broke the competition record in 1977 with this rig. AND was selected for the APBA Hall of Champions for the second time. The white boat is the last boat my dad ever built. I made a mold off of it, and made about three C Runabouts.
