    Default 25 mercury sea pro/tohatsu

Are there any bigger carbs that might bolt up to a Mercury /tohatsu 25 hp 2 stroke ? or tweaked it a little . it is Mercury's commercial motor looks like a Tohatsu or Nissan under the cowl shift is on the side . Someones bound to have tried to mod them .
    thanks for any info

I don't have an answer for you but I may be interested in your 25 carb if you don't need it.

I adapted an OMC carb to mine a while back that was a wee bit larger in bore. Didn't make much difference for the effort required.

I have a 2009 and I removed the restrictor behind the carb and replaced it with the 30hp gasket. Check that the timing was set to 30hp spec (which mine was already). It idles better now and did add approx 2-3 mph on gps. These are the only differences between the 25 & 30.

Yes sir did the gasket thing in the first 10 minutes , did research when it was being shipped, that's good , that's interesting about the omc carbs I thought maybe a Nissan or Merc or a Yamaha may fit.
    thanks for the info
