Default Tool to measure carb opening, venturi, discharge

We've been experimenting with some carb changes but I'm sorta flyin blind and need a micrometer that can measure inside diameter but with some reach where it can be positioned to accurately measure the venturi of a carbureator.

What tool is best without breaking the bank?

Did that, several tools show on images but I can't see that they would effectively provide the measurement I'm after.

Thats what I use for that job.
The measuring end is spring loaded and you have the lock in the handle.
Pull it out then mic it

An inside caliper works well and can get around and nozzles or tubes in the venturi. It is an indirect measurement like the snap gauges so you set it in the part then remove it and measure it with your choice of other normal tools- mic, digital caliper, etc.
