    Default What you guys think?

Looking for a 19 pitch cleaver 13 spline for my mini Picklefork. Or what do you guys think I should go with? Boat is 10' cmc hydraulic jackplate, 40hp evinrude, right now has the factory alum prop 17 pitch. She runs good but when it just starts pulling and riding where it should it blows out and I loose all my lift. Name: image.jpg

You must be running a regular fishing prop currently. What you need is a good cupping on the trailing edge of blades, or better yet, a surface piercing type tunnel boat prop of a "thru hub exhaust" kind. If you look up the new formula sport 60hp mercury now available, it is a regular type lower but is raced on what looks like a little F1 hydro. A prop like they run (in design alone) would be the style that might work for you.
