We have been making these stainless steel gimbel rings for Bravo I, II and III since 1997. They don't wear out. They are in stock at Hill Marine 714-855-2986 or on E-Bay. https://www.ebay.com/str/ronhillsign...cat=3026924012

A gimbel ring holds the sterndrive with four pins, it allows the motor to turn and the other two pins allows the motor to trim up. Mercury Marine makes these in aluminum but square hole wears out and allows a lot of play in the steering. Stainless basically last forever. Been making these gimbels since 1997.
