    Default timing

    i got a 2 holer evinrude, about 150 #compression, big carbs. whats the max timing i can get out of it. most things say about 21degrees. but someone told me he was running 27degrees. any help on the subject

    It'll depend on a lot of factors. Most important is the type of fuel, engine RPM, continuous WOT or just short bursts. I don't know specifically about that engine, but let us know about the specs.

    20deg max . 27deg maybe in a stock motor on AV.

    if your runnin a jet foot, you may be able to Lean on the timein harder cuzz your pullin to 6200 or so. the jetfoot factor
