    Default Bowden Development"s Mod VP

Well I picked up Fred Bowden's Stoker today....Something about seeing a 1987 California Sticker on it brought a little Cultural Shock...

Well Pat Bowman already has the name "Old School"....Don't know what Fred will call the Mod VP that he vow will be ready for the 2007 Blue Resort and Casino 300 Enduro....

When Fred gives his word, I don't doubt it.

She needs some work...but keep an eye on this "PROJECT"...

    Default What Kind of Steering??

Wayne, What kind of steering is BDI going to have? IS your son co-Driving with Todd??? Maybe???

Leave it to Fred to have a "WAY COOL" motor...Worry about 15 mid sections taking water in the ports on a fully load (With fuel) Mod VP...

Are you rigging the boat? I think we should put Hydraulic steering in the boat for this type of race, also be good for the future use of boat.
Fred and Todd are driving this boat and me and Nathan are driving another Yamaha powered Stroker ModVP????

I still sob when I see this batch of pics, they got double exposed. Thought I would throw this on here for the heck of it.

Lets see now, if I have the story straight, Lee Buchanan from Bellvue Iowa bought a mod vp after last years Parker 300. Fred Bowden wanted the boat because he ran it many years ago. He swore it would race the Parker Enduro again. Ron, you and Fred talked Lee into "giving up" the boat he wanted to race this year. I add, Lee really wanted that boat bad, but gave it up under intense pressure from you, Fred and the previous owner who even offered him another hull in Minnesota. Lee went back to Iowa and put together still another race boat and has sent his entry in. Now for the question--Have you sent your entries in? Where is Fred's entry? Where is Ron's entry? Fred, if you don't want to race that boat, maybe you will let Lee have it for the same deal he made when he bought it a year ago, and you talked him out of it so that you could race it this year? Do I have the story straight? Rod
