    got a 12 pole tach, alternator is 12pole, tach is six pulse, 6 pulse only, got twelve 12 magnets in the fly wheel,???????????, is that a 12 Pulse, makein the tach read dubble?

    76 Stinger 75hp ignition and alt'

    tach 12 pole 6 pulse

    answer, they are one in the same, 12 pole is 6 pulse. cool thanks Fast Fred
