    Default Eastern Outboard Racing Club

I found this article from a 1973 news paper. This was one of the many races we had during the season. This was at Smith Point Park. The water was always rough and of corse "salt water". Shown in the lower pictire is Pete Hellsten, president of the club and doing all the anouncing. The boat N111 Charles (Snooky) Stafeldt, was running a "C" Konig engine. In the backround was 80 N drivin by Fred DeGeorge. On the flag in John Knabl (36 Runabout class) and we started the race with a 12 gauge shotgun. The bottom picture is our Quincy 6 cylinder alky engine we ran in "F Racing Runabout". .Bob N-96
