Man there is going to be some stiff competition in DivIII this year.

Hill Racing is "PARKING" Both S-3000 EFI motors to run 2.0 Liters..Division III makes sense to us and we are supporting it....The money saved on gas by running a 2.0 liter will buy us another 2.0 powerhead....

i heard that the blue water casino filed for bankruptcy! is the race still on? any info on this would be great thanks.
I heard the same rumor and took the opportunity to check with the Bluewater Hotel. They told me the rumor was not true and they would be fully staffed serving a full house on the week-end of the 25th of October--so, get your entries in, the race is on! Rod PS: Of course, in these days of financial up heaval, who knows, they could have been lying??
Until you hear it from me, the race is on!!!
I am well aware of the rumors but it doesn't affect us or this race.

A Wacker will win....but 26 PRE ENTRIES is pretty cool as I know of at least two that have NOT entered...One is Boat #34 BMB Storage....Barton Murray and Bowden, Division III.
And Boat #55, Al Stoker of John's Custom Marine fame...Division VI..
Testing went well today....Stoker's Division VI boat was around 100...Capnzee and Chad Hill in the Scarlata/Pat Bowman Entry was in the early 80's...or late 70's....
We'll have a race and the modern era handicap system, designed by Rod Zapf, will become 100% a factor in the October 25, 2008, Blue Water Resort and Casino 300 Enduro....
ADD:
A "Wacker" will win just because.......................

I don't believe a Div III boat can win with th handicaps that have been set up this year. The Division VI boat (notice I only said boat as in one boat-Stokers) will win this race. He ran WELL OVER 100. Gary Hairbedian will be right behind him. Other Division boats will scatter themselves along the way of the top 10 as will the Div III boats. If a good strong Division II boat can manage to stay alive, it should fall in right behind the number 17 boat of Gary's. Of course then there are the Nordic Boats. They have at least 3 entries and as was proven last year, they don't break. Expect to see a Nordic in the top 5, as long as they enter themselves in the correct Division. I will send my entry in today plus the late fee. I don't know how we ever let the Div.II boats start in front of the Div. III boats. Inborders get all of the breaks including engine breaks. My guestamit is that we will have around 35 to 40 boats in this years Enduro, in spite of the high fuel costs (which are coming down) Seems like there is a lot of interest, it should lead to a lot of entries--Let's hope it does!!! Rod
If a div III boat does not break div III will win the overall hands down.I feel like there is a back to back coming!!
