    This is a more recent photo of Marian (back to the camera) from a couple of years ago (Bitterfeld, Germany). At the time he raced in the Formula 125 class with a Arens engine on the back of a composite Lucas boot. He's now racing in the F-250 class and has this year joined the Demmler Racing Team of Germany, using a VRP

    How about Chris Hellstein, Kurt Hellstein, David Hooten with his back to the camera and I am thinking that the man standing next to Chris looks like Marty Stahl?

    I know who and where on this one, Gary Augustine at Denton Maryland.

    Top is entering the turn and bottom is exiting, those are the entrance and exit buoys, yes, it's a bit narrow.

    That course looks narrow like Beaumont, but without the dogleg on the back straight. Looks like a fun place to race.

    Carl Lewis and Dr. Thunder had asked for some more Lake Lawrence photos. I don't have too many, but here are a few from 1976.

    Dave, that looks like Lake Calaveras in San Antonio 1974. Rex was there. I Don't have a pic of him spearing that bouy. Guess I was on the water too.

    I wish I had time now to follow your post with the other pics I have of various drivers sporting bouys on their forks or bows. But you have a great point. (was that supposed to be a pun?. No---it was just a subliminal thought.)
