My best ones are lost but I still have quite a few. My stuff here is slow & takes about half and hour to do a set of 5. Have to go out and plant some more flowers & herbs that my wife got in Fredricksburg first or I'll lose my computer priveledges.
I believe the big white F hydro is Ron Hagness, boat by Larry Goff, who did absolutely gorgeous work. Wonder who has it now? Ron and Howard Anderson (with a Marchetti) used to be the fastest of the 4-cyl. Looper owners in Region 10, battling it out every weekend.
Well now, wait, that boat (it is a little fuzzy) just might be Howard Anderson in his R&D, built by Bob Rhoades and Jim Daniels. Seems like I heard it went to Rex Hall . . . ?
Would V-23 in the last pic be Paul Bagosian(sp)? Bill Seebold in the "Ring of Fire" K-4? Probably "C" runabout.
I thought some of you might like these. They are taken from our club web site.

Could there be a "Rip" Willey AND a "Pip" Willey? I knew Pip Willey from racing in Germany and Austria 1976-1981. He towed his boats with a Citroen. Could raise and lower the car with some control unit. Called us Americans "Colonials". Said we screwed up a lot of tea. He always planned right before his heat came up to serve tea. He would set up a small table, put on a tea pot with a couple of cups, (maybe a vase with a rose in it) and pour himself a cup of tea. About when the gun would fire he would say "Not until we have our cup of Tea!" Is this the same "Rip"? Willey?
One day at Spandau he conked out and drifted against the shoreline. He found a junk bicycle. When they towed him back to the pits he was sitting on the bicycle in his boat.
He came to Lakeland for the UIM World Championships in 1993, but he didn't remember me, but I'll never forget him and his crazy stories. Especially the one about him and some royalty at a castle and a cozy fireplace.
That is the one and same Doug Willey!
"Have a cup of tea love"..... he would often be heard to say, amongst other things!!!!!
A definite character from over here, multi times British Champion and floral hat wearer - he must have as many stories to be told as any driver ever......
Here are a couple of shots of Pip Willey with his floral hat at Linz, Austria 1979
Do you think you could get him and Chris Applebee to sign up with BRF?
