If you want answers you are more likely to get them with a direct question and a good thread title

There is good info on it here on this thread: http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forum...zard#post32543 and http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forum...wizard&page=54

Thanks a lot for the links and the fast reply and correction of the thread title.

It was a wide cogged belt, the same type used to drive superchargers on dragsters.

Dragsters get a season or so out of a belt ... 5 seconds at a time, only a few minutes under load each season. The Wizard set up ran the belt under load for longer time periods.

There is no complete book from beginning to current.

Kevin Desmond has written 2 books that are informative but incomplete. Data before that can be gleaned from Jim Webb's Pictorial History of Outboards, but it is a very rare book.

You can see the beginning on this thread here on BRF: http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forum...read.php?t=334

Thank's again for these links and informations. At this level of outboard knowledge it's time for you to make also a book combinated with Ron Hill knowledge in Propellers.
I don't know how many years a forum with its quantity of informations last, but a book is able to last several years decade, so, are you ready to edit such a project. I hope yes and soon, I'll be one of your first buyer.
