Can someone confirm if a 55H quickie will bolt up to a Mark 35A? We are looking to put a motor together to play with - if so, we would be in the market for a 55H complete lower unit/tower. Any leads appreciated!
Thanks,
John R.

Should fit right on. You will need the throttle hookup and you will be in good shape. A good complete quicksilver lower unit could run close to $1800 with the lower pan and bar, sometimes more. It could be cheeper in the long run to buy a complete engine. At times they go in the low $2000 range and you might get a prop and bar in the setup.

Sometimes less pretty ones hit eBay a little over $1,100 or so. I've seen D Quickies by themselves in the $800 often.
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
