I was quite a week of racing. I was put in charge of escorting the Queen, Linda Norman. I broke the CU and DU Kilo Records and I won DU, my first Nationals. I had had 5 seconds in a row before 1964!
My did wrote the Governor to get that photo of Governor Brown.
This is my CU, first boat my dad and I built. Broke the Kilo Record from 59 something to 64.661. Cool red and white T shirt. First year I raced with shoes on, new rule after Boston Nationals, 1963.
My uncle was Lloyd Heggenberger, the Great John Peeter's of Seattle, grandfather.
